We've got our baby a baby mattress today. After much consideration between a latex mattress and a coconut husk mattress, we have decided to go for coconut husk due to a few reasons: -
1) coconut husk can protect baby's back bone.
2) coconut husk mattress can be brought under sun shine if baby pee pee on it.
3) coconut husk mattress is 4Xs cheaper than a latex mattress.
Since this mattress can only be used for a maximum of 1 to 1.5 years, we were thinking not to spend too much on it. Luckily we have got a sales girl who told us the good points of a coconut husk mattress (as listed above). So we have no hesitation to buy our baby a coconut husk mattress.
The mattress at a measurement of 118cm x 60cm cost us RM140 (after 20% discount from a mattress fair at Leisure Mall). We are very satisfied with the quality. It's not the ordinary coconut husk mattress which is extremely hard. It is made of layers of coconut husk and processed rubber. So it's pretty soft and comfortable for our little one.
Our baby will be sleeping comfortably on a coconut husk mattress with a latex pillow soon ;-)

Fetus Education
Michael was introduced to a book by his friend - a fetus education book by "Chet (7) Thin Jen" (a Japanese author). Hence, we bought the book from a bookstore and Michael has to read it to me word by word as it is written in Chinese.
There are quite a few things that a mummy needs to do when the little one is still in my tummy. One of the most important thing is "Communication". We always thought or wonder if the little one in our tummy can actually hear us. The fact (at least from this book) is that he can do more than just hearing, but also can feel what their mummy is feeling and seeing. Thus, the most important thing that I need to train myself is to be POSITIVE and CHEERFUL. With these, my baby will come to this world happily without worries.
Another thing, which I have been practising since the little one was 1 month + in my tummy; I've been telling him the date and time that he should come out naturally (natural birth) to the world. True enough... this is written in the book itself. I truely hope that my baby will fulfill my little wish ;-)
Another amazing findout from the book!! Fetus in the tummy can do self-healing if the mummy request him to do so. Hence, I have just started to request my precious one to be healthy, heal himself from any kind of illness before he comes to this world. I hope my baby will be as healthy as possible and meet his daddy, mummy, relatives and friends on the defined date ;-)

Opening Ceremony
Hi family and friends,
Guess what...
Never thought of blogging all these while... But for my little one in my tummy now, let me try my best to start blogging to update my family and friends about our status ;-)
As of todate, the little one is 22 weeks in my tummy. How do I feel seeing my tummy getting bigger and bigger?
1st: OMG!! Can I slim down after I deliver?
2nd: Ops!! I can't fit into my blouses and pants anymore! What should I wear to work?
3rd: Hmm.. since I am a mummy soon, all I want is to have a healthy and handsome/ beautiful junior ;-) For my body.. ahem... I'm not slim all along, so it's not too late to differ my diet plan to next year ya ;-)
4th: Ohh.. baby inside my tummy.. what are you doing right now? Can you kick mummy harder so that I can feel you moving inside?
I don't think I can describe my feelings from the 1st day I know that I'm preggie until now. The list is simply too long... But most of all, my little one must be a healthy little baby.
Guess what...
This little one is a gift from God on Valentine's Day 2008.
